Soldier?? I think not.... Whats your MOS?

I saw this on a friends Facebook and I'm like damn. This is so very true. I come from a line a military myself. I despise our government. However I think we put way to must trust in man. On the same note, I commend every single solider out there. I don't wake up to bombs in the background, constant fear that the airplane flying above me in actually about to drop tons explosive into a near by city.

So to all my soldiers away from family helping to defend THANK YOU.

On another note.... one of the worse things you can do is PRETEND to be a soldier. PRETEND that you fought wars and served for our country. To fool family and friends and create a life that just isnt true is just wrong. Plain and simple. We had a local man here pretending to do exactly this.

The man on the right is not a soldier nor has he ever been. But he has fooled a majority of our city into believing otherwise. He has stories about Iraq and its gone as far as his kids even believing he is a war hero. His name is Brian Kahn and has been posing as Brian Camacho. Fellow real soldiers helped him out believing he was suffering from PTSD. Eventually the real soldiers knew something wasn't right about this one.
Read the whole story here:

My only reason for even speaking about this man is not to give him 15 minutes of fame but to hopefully let my fellow family of bloggers who help support military and are families of such to know of this man. He went missing from our city and could pose in yours next.

So as we party and celebrate this memorial day let us not forget those who truly do defend us every day. Those who help try and make this a safe place for all of us. But please do not pose as something you are not.

  1. What a disgusting man. He clearly is suffering from some kind of mental illness, so I guess he deserves our compassion but it's hard to give it to someone who is making a mockery of the
